Agnes is a seasoned Ugandan lawyer working as Corporation Secretary and Chief Legal Officer at the National Social Security Fund (NSSF), Uganda.

With over 20 years of experience in board and corporate legal practice her experience spans the Banking, Leasing/Asset Finance, Development Finance, Capital Markets, Oil and Gas, and Pension sectors. Her specialty is in the areas of Corporate and Board Governance, Regulatory Compliance, Legal Documentation, Credit/Loan Structuring and General Legal Advisory on matters pertaining to commercial practice including employment, contracts and litigation. Over the years Agnes has contributed to several legislative reviews and reforms in her areas of practise.

In 2017, Agnes was recognized and listed on the GC (General Counsel) Power List in Africa by the global ranking agency – The Legal 500.

She has been twice nominated by the Uganda Law Society as a leading Female Corporate Lawyer for her contributions to the legal profession.
